The DDM4 V7 LW AR15 upper has been designed around a 16-inch (40.64 cm) cold-forged lightweight profile barrel that weighs two ounces less than a standard V7 barrel. It also features an improved DD flare suppressor that reduces the flare signature.

• This superior receiver group features a medium-length gas system that ensures smooth, reliable operation and reduces wear on moving parts. The free-floating MFR 15.0 handguard not only offers superior cooling, but also optimal ergonomics and modularity, while maintaining the strength and durability that Daniel Defense is known for.

• With M-LOK attachment points along 7 positions and an uninterrupted 1913 Picatinny rail at the top, the V7 LW Upper Receiver Group offers plenty of room for any sights, optics or accessories the user needs. In addition, the independently actuated GRIP-N-RIP loading lever is suitable for both right-handed and left-handed shooters. It should be noted that all Daniel Defense complete upper receiver groups come equipped with an M16 profile bolt carrier group.

• BARREL: Chrome Molybdenum Vanadium steel, cold forged, 1:7 twist, 16″ (40.64 cm) light profile, medium length gas system, chrome lined, Mil-Spec heavy phosphated and HP/MPI tested.
• GAS SYSTEM: Pinned Low Profile Gas Block CNC Machined of 4140 hardened steel and Mil-Spec Heavy Phosphate Coating, Mid-length, Direct Impingement.
• MUZZLE DEVICE: Daniel Defense flare suppressor, 17-4 PH stainless steel, salt bath nitride finish
