This receiver group is designed around a 10.3-inch, cold hammer-forged, profiled, M4 barrel, a Daniel Defense Flash Suppressor, a GRIP-N-RIP loading lever and the carbine-length gas system. It also features a lightweight 9.5-inch RIS III rail, modeled after the revolutionary two-piece RIS II handguard developed for U.S. Special Operations Command (SOCOM), which features M-LOK attachment for lighter weight.All Daniel Defense complete upper receiver groups come standard with an M16 profile bolt carrier group.

MATERIALS AND CONSTRUCTION

• UPPER RECEIVER: The product features indexing marks and M4 feed ramps that meet military Mil-Spec standard. In addition, it is CNC machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and features a Type III hard coat anodizing.
• BARREL : Features a cold-forged Chrome Molybdenum Vanadium steel and a 1:7 twist. It has a Government profile and a length of 10.3 inches and is chrome plated and heavy phosphated to Mil-Spec military standard. It has also been constructed using HP/MPI testing.
• GAS SYSTEM: El bloque de gas es de perfil bajo y ha sido mecanizado mediante CNC en acero 4140 endurecido. In addition, it has a Mil-Spec heavy phosphate coating. It is of carbine length and direct impact.
• MUZZLE DEVICE: The Daniel Defense Flash Suppressor is made of 17-4 PH stainless steel and features a salt bath nitride finish.
• BOLT CARRIER GROUP: Cuenta con un perfil M16 y ha sido testado según la norma militar Mil-Spec MP. In addition, it is chrome-plated and the gas key has been properly staked.

• HANDGUARD: The patented Daniel Defense RIS III 9.5 features a 6-bolt clamping mechanism and is manufactured from 6061-T6 aluminum by CNC machining. In addition, its finish is FDE.
• CHARGING HANDLE: The GRIP-N-RIP loading handle features a body CNC machined from 7076-T6 aluminum, as well as handles and latch CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum. In addition, the pins used are made of stainless steel and have a type III hard-coat adonized finish.
